The 5 Voices system has been utterly transformational for our organisation. It has allowed us to build a common leadership vocabulary as well as a common leadership understanding. It has empowered us both as a leadership team, but also as individuals to really grow and develop our leadership. As a result the organisation is far more lean, productive and agile in meeting the demands of the job. Teams are more functional, with far greater coherence and this has led to a decrease in staffing and HR related issues.
In terms of James and Laura, I couldn’t think of two people better equipped in delivering this kind of training. They are outstanding individuals, in particular their level of authenticity, their levels of self-awareness, their high levels of emotional intelligence and their ability to engage with a wide variety of individuals from different backgrounds. This makes them an ideal fit for this type of training. They are highly passionate about the benefits of it, and on a personal level, they are so committed to seeing individuals grow and develop, and become the best that they can be.Fergus Llewellyn, Headmaster, St Andrew’s Preparatory School, Turi, Kenya
The time we have spent with Laura and James has been incredibly valuable. Over the proceeding months there has been a clearly noticeable improvement in our ability to communicate more effectively to each other and subsequently work more effectively with each other. I think this comes from a greater appreciation of the natural strengths and weaknesses that each team member brings. We’ve developed a language to articulate our frustrations more productively as well as being more equipped to approach joint tasks from a team perspective.Rob French, Director of Sports Ministry for PSALMS
The 5 Voices sessions run for me and my Chaplaincy Team at Dean Close and for a group of fellow School Chaplains, were profoundly helpful. Our eyes were popping as we understood better our instinctive strengths, our accompanying weaknesses, and – with some knowing looks around the room – some of the inbuilt team dynamics which we had resigned ourselves to, or become all too familiar with. Speaking as a previous ‘personality analysis sceptic’, I would commend 5 Voices to anyone in the warmest possible terms.John Ash, Chaplain, Dean Close Foundation
The 5 Gears workshop made me realise I would benefit from 1 to 1 coaching in order to redress some balance in my life. The coaching session I had was great. I felt listened to and understood and the ideas generated helped me to come up with an action plan which was achievable and relevant to me. James helped me identify goals which were manageable but with the biggest personal and professional gains. I am still using the techniques he showed me on a daily basis. I would highly recommend this service.
Alison Clark, Head of Open the BookThe 5 Gears training is both simple and radical. It helped to identify the situations in life that I tend to avoid – both personally and professionally. This encouraged me to really explore the reasons behind my actions and has improved the relationship I have with myself, and with those around me. James is a charismatic coach who is focused on the individual and helping them to succeed.
